Our youth activities are very energetic and builds the children's self-esteem. Your children are welcome to come here and build their self-esteem. |

The Children's Message
The Children's Message is delivered to all the children and youth present at the worship service on any given Sunday. Our youth directors seek to make the Word of God understood to the young people with object lessons. They also have one of the Children read a prayer at the end of the Children's Message, followed by a song. |

Praise Dancing
Praise dancing is a form of worshipping God in which our youth use their whole body in movement. Praise dancing is a dance of victory, celebration, and thanksgiving to God. Praise dancing allows the youth to express themselves and still be in the body of Christ. It is their way of ministering to those gathered at a worship service. One of our two youth directors choreographs the youth praise dancers. They have done wonders with the children and teenagers. Praise dancing has made the young people more out-going and more well-rounded.

Youth Choir
The Children and Youth choir has the rich treasure of a magnificent core of talented young adults as well as children who can elevate praise with their sound. The Youth Choir of Holy Cross is an excellent place to build relationships and a Christian foundation among young people in a caring environment. We seek to build on their Christian growth and further strengthen their musical skills in becoming worship leaders. The Youth choir performs during the children message each Sunday, at special events, and at seasonal musical performances. Our mission is to create youth dedicated to musical excellence through the inspiration of the gospel, to enhance their education, and nurture their personal musical and social development, which gives the highest praise to our Savior Jesus Christ.

Skits
Our drama ministry (skits and puppets) is a method of praising God, through Bible drama that illustrates and illuminates Holy Scripture by bringing Bible truths to life, to those in attendance, for worshipping God. The performance of Christian drama by the Holy Cross youth is teaching the youth to step out on faith in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. They enhance the teaching of His Word through, script, drama, and music while providing opportunities for their continued spiritual growth. Their own talent is enhanced through speech, projection, and memory faculty. The mission and purpose of the script performances is to encourage growth through a common bond in Christ, while teaching biblically based lessons on Christian living. |
